Thai massage is a very dynamic experience that may be performed either lightly to induce a deep sense of relaxation and meditation or more deeply to invoke release and movement within the body. While it is a very active form of bodywork, you will feel relaxed and enlivened when your treatment is finished.

One of the main differences between Traditional Thai Massage and a Remedial Massage is that it is performed on the floor, fully clothed rather than on a table.

zen shiatsu

Shiatsu is Japanese for finger pressure. This is a treatment that focuses on dispersing excessive energy from the meridians of the body or boosting the energy in areas where it is lacking. Shiatsu is performed fully clothed and incorporates slow compression and trigger point work along the meridians, joint mobilisation and stretching.

Pregnancy Massage may be performed with the aid of pillows & bolsters to ensure comfort and support. Massage during pregnancy has been found to decrease edema in the extremities reduce stress thereby increasing your sense of wellbeing, as well as relieving muscle aches and pains.       

This treatment is performed in side-lying and supine positions. Your comfort is the utmost of our concern, so we encourage you to communicate your comfort levels at all times during the treatment so that any adjustments may be made to keep you feeling great.
